Beginning December 1, 2009 we will publish information each week concerning persons wanted on warrants by the Ottawa County Sheriffs Office. This same information will be published every Tuesday in the Port Clinton News Herald.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is trying to find Derek Hines. He was indicted by the grand jury of Ottawa County for 4 counts of criminal non support, all fifth degree felonies in January of this year. He has previously been convicted of robbery. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is looking for Johnny H. Jones, Jr. He is wanted for failure to appear for sentencing in Ottawa County Common Pleas Court in connection with a Grand Jury indictment in 2001 for 2 felony counts of trafficking in drugs. Travis J. Ottney

* Ottney turned himself in to the Ottawa County Detention Facility on Friday, February 19, 2010 and appeared in the Ottawa County Court of Common Pleas. Later signed a Recognizance Bond and posted a $20,000.00 unsecured cash bond. (Updated Monday, February 22, 2010)

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is looking for Travis Ottney. He was indicted by the grand jury in January 2010 for felonious assault, a second degree felony. He was last known to live in the Elmore area.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is looking for Michelle Stiltner. She was indicted by the grand jury in 2008 for theft and forgery, both felonies of the fifth degree. She was last known to be in the Tiffin area. She has past convictions for several counts of passing bad checks.

Jose Sanchez, Jr.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is looking for Jose Sanchez, Jr. He is wanted for failure to appear for sentencing in a 2006 indictment for trafficking in drugs a fourth degree felony. He has past convictions for trafficking in drugs, escape and theft, to name a few. He is last known to live in the Fremont, OH area.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is trying to locate information on Louis A. Rivera. He was indicted by the Ottawa County Grand Jury for breaking and entering and theft, both fifth degree felonies and misdemeanor theft. He is last known to be in the Cleveland area. He has a history of B & E, receiving stolen property trafficking in LSD, and domestic violence to name a few.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is trying to find information on Debra Stayte, who was indicted by the grand jury of Ottawa County on June 2009 for 2 counts of criminal non support a fifth degree felony. She was last known to be in the Toledo area at 2824 Lagrange St. She has previous convictions for attempted possession of drugs, DUI, wrongful entrustment, and reckless operation.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is trying to locate Jay Slinker for a charge of probation violation. He was convicted of criminal non support a felony of the fifth degree. He is last known to live at 2439 Glenwood Ave. #2 in Toledo, OH. He has previous convictions for criminal non support a fourth degree felony, DUI, no driver's license and driving under suspension.

Lonnie E. Cornett

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office is trying to find Lonnie Cornett who is wanted from violating his probation in Ottawa County Common Pleas Court. The original charge for which he is on probation is theft, a fifth degree felony. His last known address was 606 Hancock St. in Sandusky, OH.

He is wanted for failure to appear in Common Pleas Court a felony of the fourth degree. He also failed to appear for sentencing in criminal child support cases.
